Our Mission:

Osa Wildlife Sanctuary is committed to providing wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and responsibly release orphaned, injured or displaced animals indigenous to the Southern Pacific zone of Costa Rica. Education and teaching through example is the key to the success of conservation—the protection of species through the responsible  actions of man.

Osa Wildlife Sanctuary has been saving, responsibly releasing and caring for the unfortunate wildlife that has been deemed unreleasable for over 20 years.

We have always been able to pride ourselves with never having to turn an animal in need away.  We have had to ask for “a little help from our friends” only twice.

With the Covid virus, we are not able to support the wildlife through our main source of revenue—personal educational tours. We are now asking for a little more help to be able to offer LIVE VIRTUAL TOURS so that we may continue to support the Sanctuary in a manner in which we always have in the past with excellent nutrition, expert medical care and well designed animal welfare programs.

Please don’t hesitate to give your tax deductible donations.  The sooner we receive the funding, the sooner we can start giving virtual tours and become self reliant assuring the continued good health and safe keeping for all the wildlife in our care—current and future.

Thank you kindly for your consideration!
